The Mavericks clearly succumb in Sacramento

The 11 points scored by José Manuel Calderón did little to prevent the clear defeat Dallas Mavericks in visiting Sacramento Kings ( 112-97 ) , in the only match played early this morning in the NBA with Spanish presence .

Despite the absence of their new signing Rudy Gay , who watched the game from the stands at Sleep Train Arena, the Kings , ranked next to last in the Western Conference , had no problems to take the lead from a great first quarter ( 34-23 ) . After the break, hit one second sprint ( 35-26 ) are running the fast break and again the impotence of the Mavericks veterans.

However, the great local story was the strength of DeMarcus Cousins, who found no place in the ' painting ' , where he played a pleasure to accumulate 32 points and 19 rebounds. His work was complemented perfectly Outdoor game Derrick Williams ( 31 points) and Isaiah Thomas (24 points , 12 assists ) , within the larger collective functioning of the local computer .

Meanwhile , Dallas at no time did feel able to undertake the comeback, hobbled by inefficiency from the line of three ( 5/27) where Calderon was saved only with three scoops on seven attempts . Monta Ellis was the leading scorer (21 points ) of a ' Mavs ' that are significantly lowering their performance away from home (4-7).
